The Blue Jays have signed pitcher Paolo Espino and catcher Payton Henry to minor-league deals with invitations to spring training.

Espino, who will turn 37 on Wednesday, spent parts of the last four seasons with the Washington Nationals. In 2023, he pitched only four major-league innings before being placed on the injured list and later released.
